Privacy Policy
Effective date: 28 October 2026
This policy explains what information the game Bloom Window (“the app”), made by Artem Kurtiak, an individual developer (“we”), handles and why. The short version: you never create an account or sign in, we never ask for your name or email, your game progress stays on your device and in your own iCloud, we do not use an analytics service of our own, and we never sell your data. Optional video ads are provided by Google AdMob and purchases are confirmed through RevenueCat, as described below.
Information stored on your device
Your game progress and settings (music, sounds, vibration, reminders, language) are saved on your device. We do not receive them.
If you are signed in to iCloud, the app also keeps a copy of your game progress in your own iCloud account (Apple’s iCloud key-value storage), so it comes back when you reinstall the game or move to a new iPhone. That copy is stored by Apple under your Apple Account; we cannot see or access it. If you are not signed in to iCloud, no copy is made. You can delete the copy in iPhone Settings › Apple Account › iCloud › Manage storage.
Reminders
If you allow notifications, the game schedules a few reminders on your iPhone itself (for example, that your flowers are in bloom or that your daily gift is ready), only in the daytime. They are created and delivered on the device; there is no push server and no data is sent anywhere. You can turn them off in the game’s Settings › Reminders or in iPhone Settings › Notifications.
In-app purchases
Gem packs, a starter pack and “No ads” are sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see your name, Apple Account, card or billing details.
To confirm a purchase and give you what you bought, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase-validation service. When the app starts, or when you buy or restore something, RevenueCat receives:
- your purchase history in this app (which item, when, and the App Store transaction and receipt);
- a random anonymous app user ID created by the app — it is not linked to your name, email or Apple Account;
- basic technical information sent with any internet request, such as app version, device model, iOS version, App Store country and IP address.
We use this only to deliver purchases, restore purchases that did not finish, prevent fraud and see overall sales numbers. It is not used to identify you or to track you across other apps or websites.
Video ads (Google AdMob)
Bonus rewards (a pot that blooms at once, double coins for a bouquet, free gems) can be earned by choosing to watch a short video ad; these play only when you tap a ▶ button. From level 4 the game also shows a short full-screen ad at most once every 30 minutes of play, announced by a 3-second countdown. Buying “No ads” in the gem shop turns those breaks off. These ads are provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC). To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google receives:
- a device identifier: your advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow tracking, otherwise an identifier that is limited to this app;
- your IP address, used to estimate your general location (country or city, never your exact location);
- which ads you saw and how you interacted with them;
- device and app information and crash or performance data.
The app asks Google only for ads rated G or PG (suitable for general audiences, or with parental guidance). Google’s use of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Your ad choices
Ads, Google’s consent form and the iOS tracking question appear only after the short tutorial at the start of the game.
iOS then asks whether the app may track you (App Tracking Transparency). If you say no, ads are still shown, but your advertising identifier is not shared. You can change this at any time in iPhone Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, Google’s consent form asks for your choice before any ad is requested. You can change it later in the game: Settings › Ad privacy choices.
The app does not access your contacts, exact location, camera, microphone or photos.
No analytics of our own
The app contains no analytics or tracking service of our own. We do not receive your play data, and we do not build a profile of you.
Apple
If you have allowed it in iOS settings, Apple may share anonymous crash reports and usage statistics with developers. This is controlled by Apple and covered by Apple’s privacy policy.
Children
Bloom Window is made for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. The app does not ask anyone, including children, for personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads in the app are limited to content rated G or PG. Purchases require the approval of the Apple Account holder, and parents can turn off in-app purchases in Screen Time.
Your rights
Because we do not know who you are, we hold no data that names you. You can still ask us to delete purchase data held for the app, or ask any question about your privacy, by writing to us. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California), you have the right to access, correct or delete your data and to complain to your local data protection authority.
To delete everything the game keeps about your play, delete the app from your iPhone and remove its iCloud copy as described above.
Data retention and security
Purchase records are kept by RevenueCat for as long as needed to deliver and verify purchases and to meet legal and tax requirements. Google keeps ad data as described in its privacy policy. Data is sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page and update the date above.
